Kelly MADDOCKS

Kelly Maddocks is an Australian contemporary artist. She aims to bring energy to a space with the intention of encouraging optimistic reflection. She wants to bottle up a feeling or memory for you to take home forever.

Kelly is heavily influenced by nostalgia, from mid-century design, the golden era of abstract expressionism and icons of rock and roll. Her work highlights objects or places and their significance in history or impact on pop culture.

Having always been an artist at heart, Kelly completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries after school and has pursued creative endeavours in design, fashion and advertising. She rediscovered her love for painting shortly after becoming a mum and started to document her journey on social media.

THE STUDIO

A little corner of paradise, Kelly’s art studio is where all the magic happens. Positioned overlooking the family backyard, it is the hub of creativity and play. Kelly is often joined in the studio by her two toddlers who love to paint and create.

The studio is set for an upgrade in 2027. Watch this space.
